OTHER TEXT ENHANCEMENTS

Each of the following enhancements will consist of more than one line. See how your browser interprets each of these:

The Blockquote using <BLOCKQUOTE>

The following was spoken on Nov. 19, 1863 by Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.
Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great Civil War testing whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure. ...

This speech continued, and lasted for approximately 2 minutes.

The ADDRESS format using <ADDRESS>

The following is an address:

This is the first address line.
This is the second line using <BR> to give a carriage return and Line feed.
This is the last address line also using the <BR>.

The PREdefined text format using <PRE>

The format of the following text is predefined and just passed through the browser to your screen. The following is a description of these 3 enhancements using the <PRE> tag.
BLOCKQUOTE used to set apart a quote (usually
			indented)
ADDRESS used to set apart your address (usually
at the bottom of the document, and
			usually italics)
PRE used to set apart preformatted text --
the browser does not format this text,
and formatting codes are not recognized
			in this text.
This ends the <PRE> example. Notice that the above is in a nonproportional font (all characters have the same size).
